Every child in primary school in Wales is entitled to a free school meal, but you still need to check their eligibility for the School Essentials Grant.
Through the School Essentials Grant, your child could get up to £200 for: sports equipment, school uniform, classroom essentials.
If your child is in secondary school, they could be eligible for Free School Meals and up to £200 through the School Essentials Grant.
If eligible, your school will receive extra funding too.
