Mrs Davies's Blog Spring Term 13

The last blog of the Spring Term 2017 -what a busy term it has been ! We have ended it with some fantastic Values Treats   - Medieval banquets, tents on the playground, visiting pets, Easter treats etc.The children seem so happy!

Yet again this week, we have worked with so many visiting teachers from schools across Wales who can't help but be impressed with the attitude of our children towards their learning.

The school has also been busy in recruiting staff for September and with such a large staff team , we accept that staff move on to other ventures. With sadness, we say goodbye today to Mrs Devereux and plan to say goodbye and congratulations to Mr Voros, who will take up the Headship of Coastlands C.P. School in September.

You will receive our half termly newsletter today with additional information about a small change for Y1 - 6  morning arrival next term. As we hope for finer weather, we shall be opening the gate which leads on to the playground between 8.25 - 8.40 am and requesting that parents drop off children at the gate, allowing the playground to be used to its full potential by the children. The gate will be supervised by staff, so that once in school, children will be unable to leave the playground area. The bell and lining up arrangements will remain the same. We thank parents in advance for their cooperation around this small change.

I am hoping that at the start of term, you will receive more news about our packed lunch options.

Thank you once more for your support this term. I wish you all a great Easter break!!!!
