Mrs Davies's Blog Summer Term 11

We have had many classes out and about this week  as topics are being completed towards the end of term.

Year 1 Children enjoyed their Beach Olympics at Broad Haven beach earlier in the week and yesterday , our Reception children spent the day at the beach yesterday searching rock pools , enjoying pebble art and making dams - it was lovely to hear that some of the children thought that it was their best day ever!!

Today , we have the first of two planned days for our Year 6 John Muir activities, the children are enjoying themselves at Bosherston, Year 5 Buddy training and also SKIP training for parents.

Earlier in the week , four of our older children visited the Archives as part of their new role as Reading Ambassadors and they returned to school full of ideas as to how to promote reading across the school and at home -look out for the Summer Challenge everyone!

Children in classes Nursery to Year 5 had transition in their new classes for September during the morning session yesterday and it was good to see so much enthusiasm from children and staff alike - we al look forward to next year.

A busy week next week, remember non uniform on Friday.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.
