What a fantastic week we have had at school - there  have been so many wonderful moments to share together - and some of the best ones have been when our parents/grandparents have joined us.  The week finished with our Easter Service led by Year 3, all children enjoying Golden Time opportunities and our Nursery boys and girls giving us an Easter bonnet parade whilst also having fun outside with Maz Bubbles!!

The week began with high spirits following significant achievement at the Dyfed Cross Country last Thursday.  Year 6 had a successful day with their partners at the VC Gallery, an integral part of their Gallery Rebels topic - we look forward to this work developing further next term.

Our Easter Craft afternoon was a fantastic success on Wednesday, when one hundred families worked together, enjoying art and craft fun.  Likewise we thank the parents who supported the school's Easter Bingo.

One of the highlights of the term has to be Year 2's Medieval Banquet, the children have been planning it for some considerable time.  It was a delight to see so many join in the fun and share the experience together - the medieval soup was a treat as was seeing some of the parents dressed in character - well done Lucas's Dad and Molly and Lucas's Mums who looked so authentic!

There has been great excitement in school today following a very successful Cross Country event at Carmarthen yesterday afternoon. Our children did fantastically well, offering their very best efforts. We must congratulate our Year 6 Boys team who won the competition with some fantastic placements. We shall be sharing the results in our next whole school assembly. Well done all.

Our Year 6 children had a successful morning at Haverfordwest High VC . They enjoyed their transition morning immensely - the focus area was Music and alongside Year 6 children from other schools, songs were learnt and shared, with instrumentalists performing in the upper school.

Year 5 enjoyed their visit to St Mary's Church this week  and our Year 2 classes are preparing for their Medieval Banquet next Thursday ( we all look forward to that). Next Friday, Year 3 will lead the Easter Service and the boys and girls in the Nursery will take part in an Easter Bonnet parade. We have much to look forward to.

Mr Clarke led our Family Learning session today re" keeping your child safe online" and already we have received requests from parents for more of these sessions on different days of the week - we shall build that into our planner for next term.  We certainly want to share the information we have with all of our parents.

    Have a good weekend everyone.
