The end of term is now here for all of our children and our Hub is officially closing as I write. I want to thank all of our children for being so superb over Lockdown and also on return to school.
Thank you to our wonderful parents who have been superb in every way, particularly with their huge Home Learning efforts.
It has been a busy and different few months but we are safe and well and are in a good position to move forward in September.
Well Done and good luck to all of Year 6 leavers …. keep working hard, we shall miss you.
School events for next term are mostly planned to be "virtual" , please check out the dates sent out today for information , they are subject to change of course... and it is an ever changing climate.

We have now arrived at the end of Week 3 for partial reopening. I am so pleased that we have had all year groups from Reception to Year 6 at school, it has proven to be a super trial for us all in readiness for a full return to school in September. I am again grateful to all our parents for supporting our entry and exit arrangements so well, thank you for being so punctual and for letting even our youngest children walk into school with just staff to support, these good practices really will help us in readiness for September.
You will have received a letter today via a text link and within it, there is information around wrap around care for the start of the year. Breakfast can be available for all who want it but early provision ie 7:45 am can only be for those who need it due to work commitments as it will be class based to start . There will be need to pre book and provision will be allocated on a first come /first served basis - please see the letter for more information.
I shall send you information regarding arrangements for September at the beginning of next week , in order for you to have adequate time to consider and ask questions . I want everyone to have a good summer break, looking forward to the term ahead.
Well done to all of those children who have been at school this week - you have been amazing !

We have now come to the end of Week 2 of our school being opened to our children for one day a week in their own class "Bubble". Our children have been superb again this week, thoroughly enjoying their time at school, they have been delightful in every way and is has been so good to see so many of them, more and more have returned this week and we hope to see all before the end of term. School will still be in operation on the week beginning 20.07.
Thank you to all of our parents for such great punctuality enabling our staggered starts and finishes to be so successful.
You will now be aware that our Education Minister announced yesterday that schools in Wales will be opened to all children in September. I look forward to this very much and will keep parents and carers updated regarding the new term, we anticipate that we will receive Welsh Government guidance next week.

At the end of the first week of reopening, I have never been more proud of our children and families. It was wonderful to see our children at school this week, they were so happy to see the staff and friends . Our parents have been wonderfully supportive with our new arrangements and I am well aware how hard it was for some.
What a great preparation for September... however that looks!!
I hope that you have read yesterday's letter and thank you to those who have completed the back to school survey. If you haven't done so, please try to over the weekend if you have some time.
