Mrs Davies's Blog Autumn Term, Week 8

This half term has been 8 weeks long, yet passed so quickly - already the school is making plans for Christmas and beyond.

I thank Year 4 for leading our Harvest Festival this morning, we had many families joining us and the service was clearly enjoyed by all. Thank you to those families who donated tins and dried produce - all of which will be donated to PATCH. We shall deliver the items after half term -so there is time for you to still donate if you wish during the week after half term.

Our finalised Christmas events are now noted on the website for your information as well as some theme days leading into the end of term -

Friday 15th November - Dress Spotty or Dress like Pudsey( Children i Need)

Friday 13th December - Dress Sparkly (Sparkle Day)

Thursday 19th December - Party dress ( Christmas Parties)

Friday 20th December - Christmas Jumper Day)

If you have a little one in Foundation Phase, you may well wish to look closely at the production time on the letter that went home today regarding costumes.

Breaking news - Well done to our Year 4 Cross Country Girls Team, we found out today that they came first -  what an achievement!

I would like to say a big thank you to the children for working so hard this half term. Well done to all those new members of our school family who have settled so well  - children and staff!

Have a good half term break everyone - we look forward to next half term. Stay safe!
