Clubs have been cancelled as a precaution today, due to the potential of poor weather arriving later in the school day.

Thank you to all those parents who have expressed an interest in becoming volunteers at school. We are hoping that over the next few months we can recruit a good number of willing parents/ grandparents who can support with reading / school trips etc. .We would love to have one or two for every class at school. Please, if you do have some time, let us know, We can offer you some support so that you feel confident in participating in school activities - just let us know. It would be good to have you with us.
Reminder that for all our Nursery - Year 2 children, a copy of the Christmas concerts will be available if you wish to order one.

The children have again been a joy this week. Everyday, we have caught some great moments. Two of our Year 6 girls were "caught" teaching younger children at different times. Tegan beautifully supported our younger Reception children one session by confidently leading a Read, Write, Inc group with a teacher and Joan did a fantastic job at supporting our Year 2 children with their reading! There are so many examples to share throughout the school.
Congratulations to those who have received special award badges this week. Well Done to Kiara (VIP in Key Stage 2) and Lucas (VIP in Foundation Phase). Well done also to Ava - Reader of the Week and recipient of a Golden Ticket !
We see so many children working hard throughout the school, fully engaged in their learning - they are a credit to their families.
If you have a little one in Nursery or Foundation Phase and would like to pre order a copy of the school's Christmas Concert 2018, then please complete the slip and return to school after the weekend.

Happy New Year everyone. We have only returned to school for three days and already the children have settled well into their routines.
It has been delightful to talk to them, hearing about their experiences over the holiday period and watching them getting to grips with their new topics. Having spent two training days with staff ,it has also been delightful to listen to the enthusiasm of the staff regarding their return to school and the planned topics.
We offer a warm welcome to Miss Catherine Edwards who has joined the staff team replacing Ms Bond, we look forward to working with her very much.
Congratulations to everyone for settling so well, welcome to all our new children at school and well done to our fifteen new 'big' Full Timers in Nursery.
