We have reached the end of the Spring Term which has been a very different type of term, one like no other.  We started the term with just keyworker children on site and most children working at home.  After half term, our Foundation Phase joined us and during the past couple of weeks we have seen a full return.

I think that it is true to say that the last few months have been challenging for everyone and I do so hope that we are able to work through next term without too much disruption.  Everyone has learnt so many new skills and ways of working and should feel proud of their efforts.

With travel restrictions lifted across Wales for travel just within Wales, I hope that this gives many of our families a greater opportunity to meet up safely with loved ones over the holiday period.

Please have a well deserved good break - enjoy the children - they have been fantastic on return to school.

    Stay safe everyone.

What a great week - we have all our children back at school and it has been a delight to see them.  Key Stage 2 have settled so well - it is as though they have never been away.  Congratulations to all of them!

It has been so good to hold our virtual whole school assembly today and to see all the classes together on a screen - one step closer to being back as a school family.

We do have a vacancy for a school parent Governor, so if any parent would like to find out more - please contact the school.

Thank you for your kind messages of support for staff this week.

    Have a good weekend all.

Who could believe that our Foundation Phase children have now been back at school for almost 3 weeks?

Everyone in school is so looking forward to having all of our children back at school on Monday.  We have been separated for such a long time.  Hopefully, we won't need to close schools again and we can have some continuity between now and the end of the Summer Term.

We shall continue with our hygiene practices and entry and dismissal arrangements  and ask that our parents  and carers respect our school bubbles by adhering to Welsh Government guidance - no parties/playdates/sleepovers.

Have a great weekend everyone.  Happy Mother's Day and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday!

What a great week we have had at school. We started the week with our St Davids Day celebration and it was so good to see out Foundation Phase children back at school, many wearing traditional costume. The Eisteddfod , virtual of course, was a treat to observe. Thank you to all our 250 + entrants !!

The week continued to offer much excitement with a celebration for both those at home and in school. Whilst at school, children arrived in costume, at home  - there were both teacher and staff challenges, many posted on our website for your viewing.

We hope to see our KS2 children back with us very soon and can't wait for all of our children to be at school once more.

Thank you everyone, for your hard work both at home and school.

Have a good weekend all - stay safe!
