    Dear All,

I hope that you are all ready for school next week, we are looking forward to seeing you so much. It will be great for us to catch up.

Throughout the week, we shall see nearly all of you.

You need not worry about returning to school, just look forward to spending time with your teacher and some of your classmates.

    Parents and Carers,

I hope that you have seen our virtual tour and have a confidence in our preparedness for opening. Staff will be waiting for you at the gates and will direct you to where you need to be, if you can walk into school, that will be great  - there will be limited car parking spaces and cars cannot be double parked.

Please read the letters that we have sent home and which can be found on this website to give you all the information you need prior to return.

    Have a great weekend all.

    Bore Da Everyone,

I hope that you and your families are all well.  This is the end of another week and our school closes today for other schools who have used our childcare provision at Prendergast.  Next week, the school will be open for our staff to get together and prepare for reopening on the following week.  The only children who will be at school next week will be our own keyworker children who are accessing childcare.

I hope all parents and carers have read the information that was sent via text link on Wednesday and hope also the information has assured many of your possible concerns about reopening.  Teachers have started to make telephone contact today with all families regarding allocated times for all children to return to school on week beginning 29th June.

I shall keep you up to date with relevant information.  I know, at the time of writing, there is doubt as to whether schools in Wales will be open on the week beginning 20th July, as a school staff, we are ready and have planned to be open but need confirmation.

Thank you for your super home learning, we continue to see such great work.  Well done everyone!

    Please stay safe!

I hope to have a "return to school" virtual tour sent to you before the end of next week, ready to share our school's new look in readiness for reopening.

I hope that you have all had a good week this week. Thank you to all those children who have produced such great learning throughout the week, we are proud of you!

Whilst the Hub continues to run, staff have also been busy getting ready to welcome our children back to school at the end of the month. We are all looking forward to this.

Classrooms are changing in how they look, with far less furniture ready to keep safe groups of around eight children returning on a rota. We are looking carefully at the Welsh Guidance in conjunction with our risk assessment , considering start and finish times, breaktimes etc..

A huge thank you to our parents who completed the  school survey regarding the reopening of our school. Your comments have been exceptionally useful as we plan forward. You should have received two letters in two days regarding reopening, one from the Acting Director yesterday and one from myself today, Friday. We have more news to follow and will keep you updated as to how we progress.

Stay Safe everyone, we hope to see you all very son.

    Dear Parent/Carer

I hope you and our children are all well.

I am sure that you have many queries regarding schools reopening on 29th June following the announcement from Kirsty Williams, Education Minister, on Wednesday.  Yesterday I sent a letter to all parents and carers, via text/website today before lunch.  Please complete the survey and return by 9:00 am on Monday, your comments will be invaluable to us in planning the next phase.

As I stated in the letter yesterday, I shall keep you updated regarding our progress towards reopening.  It is important to note that Home Learning will continue when schools reopen.

Keep working hard everyone, we do miss you all and are really looking forward to seeing you soon.

Keeping working hard - we are so impresses with your efforts.
