    Fri 11 Dec 2020 Mrs D Davies

Today as I write , it is Sparkle Day .Despite absent children and distancing measures around lunches , the children have had a great festive  feast at distance from others.

Monday will be our last day together at school before Christmas. We shall have our Christmas jumper day with parties ( safely within class bubbles).

From next Tuesday, we shall move to on line learning. Teachers will be available to support with this at specific times in the day. Our younger children will receive hard copy packs.

We shall organise our on line panto and production to be viewed at specific times next week and will be in touch with you next week regarding this.

As much as we want to be together as a school family, it is so important at this critical time within the pandemic that we keep each other safe.

We are here if you need us.

    Please take care everyone.

  • SELF ISOLATION PERIOD

    Wed 09 Dec 2020 Mrs D Davies
Welsh Government have announced a change in the duration of the self isolation period from 14 days to 10 days. For our school currently, this means that pupils in 2P can return to school on Tuesday 15h December if they are well. This is great news for our school as we were so disappointed that we may not see them prior to Christmas.

    Fri 04 Dec 2020 Mrs D Davies

We have just finished our whole school virtual assembly - I think that it might be one of my favourite parts of the week. It is just fantastic to have us altogether again, albeit on the big screens. We have heard of so many good things happening across the school again and of children receiving a special mention for acts of fabulous learning and super Values.

I am so proud of them all.

Just to inform you that our LA has confirmed that we shall be continuing at school until 18th December, as originally planned. There had been some speculation in the media about schools finishing earlier for Christmas . Our arrangements for now will stay, please remember our first two days in January ( 4th/5th) are INSET closure days.

Christmas starts next week   - remember Sparkle Day and Christmas dinner next Friday !!

Have a good weekend everyone and stay safe, please be careful.
